<u>How to use the communication tool “Forum” on the JARA website</u>

<u>
</u> You may choose any of three options :

1 – read comments that have been posted.
2 – reply to comments that have been posted.
3 – post a new topic (comment).

 

You don’t need to log in to read comments that have been posted. Click on any heading to open it, then click on the desired comment you wish to read.

 

You must be logged in to:

1 – open an attachment to a comment that has been posted.
2 – reply to a comment that has been posted.
3 – post a new topic (comment).

 

THE STEPS ARE:

Open the JARA website :

• Hover your mouse over “HOME” to see the drop down menu
• Select “LOG IN”
• If you are on a safe computer, you may choose to select the box “Remember me”
• Enter your Username or email address and your password, then select “LOGIN”
• Hover your mouse over “HOME” and select “FORUMS”

1 – Click on any heading to open it, click on the desired comment you wish to read, then click on its attachment.

2 – Click on any comment, scroll down, find “Reply To” , add your comment, select “SUBMIT”

3 – Choose an appropriate heading for your comment, scroll down, under “Create New Topic”, enter the Topic Title and your comments, if you wish you may select “Choose File” to upload attachments, select “SUBMIT”

NOTE :

• After you select “SUBMIT”, comments automatically send out to all neighbours’ email accounts which are registered on the JARA website.
• The website software cannot send attachments directly into email accounts.
• To access “Tips from the residents” and other password-controlled documents on the site,.use the password “Riverview”.

Vous pouvez choisir parmi trois options :

1 – lire les commentaires publiés.
2 – répondre aux commentaires publiés.
3 – publier un nouveau sujet (commentaire).

Vous n’avez pas besoin de vous connecter pour lire les commentaires publiés.
Cliquez sur un titre pour l’ouvrir, puis cliquez sur le commentaire que vous souhaitez lire.

Vous devez être connecté pour :

1 – ouvrir une pièce jointe à un commentaire publié.
2 – répondre à un commentaire publié.
3 – publier un nouveau sujet (commentaire).

LES ÉTAPES SONT LES SUIVANTES :

Ouvrez le site Web de l’ARQJ :

• Survolez « ACCUEIL » pour afficher le menu déroulant.
• Sélectionnez « CONNEXION ».
• Si vous utilisez un ordinateur sécurisé, vous pouvez cocher la case « Remember me ».
• Entrez votre nom d’utilisateur ou votre adresse courriel et votre mot de passe, puis sélectionnez « LOGIN ».
• Survolez « ACCUEIL » et sélectionnez « FORUMS ».

1 – Cliquez sur un titre pour l’ouvrir, cliquez sur le commentaire que vous voulez lire, puis sur sa pièce jointe.

2 – Cliquez sur un commentaire, faites défiler vers le bas, trouvez « Reply To », ajoutez votre commentaire, puis sélectionnez « SUBMIT».

3 – Choisissez un titre approprié pour votre commentaire, faites défiler vers le bas, sous « Create New Topic », saisissez le titre du sujet (Topic Title) et vos commentaires. Si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez sélectionner « Choose File » pour téléverser des pièces jointes, puis sélectionner « SUBMIT».

NOTE :

• Après avoir sélectionné « SUBMIT », les commentaires sont automatiquement envoyés aux adresses courriel de tous les voisins inscrits sur le site Web de l’ARQJ.
• Le site Web ne permet pas d’envoyer des pièces jointes directement dans les comptes de courriel.
• Pour accéder à la sélection « Les tuyaux des résidents » et aux autres documents protégés par un mot de passe sur le site, utilisez le mot de passe « Riverview ».
