Rick Henderson, 20 Jubilee, is now a published author who has recently released his latest book: CAPITAL CHRONICLES – The History You Were Never Told.
This book is available in both English & French and chronicles some wonderful stories about the history of Ottawa/Gatineau … including maps, colourful descriptions of some of the interesting characters who shaped the early settler days and a terrific walking tour, perfect for a sunny day stroll around the Capital region.
Rick and Peggy had intended to have a neighbourhood book launch, but due to Covid restrictions, the event never happened!
Rick’s book is receiving excellent reviews and in fact a few of our neighbours are currently reading the book.
Capital Chronicles is selling at various bookstores in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. But, if you are looking for a great read and would like to have Rick autograph and deliver, simply text him at 873-353-5393.
The English version is selling for $23. However, there was an error with a recent delivery, and he has more French books than he needs, so the French version will sell for $18. Either way, this book would make a great Christmas gift or a great addition to your book list for winter reading.
