I want to say a big “Thank You” to everyone who took part in getting my hen ‘Gracie’ back home to me. Unfortunately, her companion, ‘Roxie’ was killed by the Raccoons that got into their pen sometime during the very, very early morning yesterday. Gracie is now alone but hopefully I will find her one or two new friends soon.

Well you both will be missed by all of us in the neighbourhood. Hope you will be moving to somewhere within walking distance. Over the years, I have gone to you, Rick, so many times for information and answers to questions. Peggy, I will miss your friendship, all the laughing and fun times. Make sure you two stay in touch.

JARALUDE – Wonderful

Day 1, this Saturday, Jan. 22 at 10:30 – Hopefully I will be there hot chocolate and shovel in hand, although if it is really cold I will be so bundled up I might find it a little difficult shuffling out there … I have faith though. Day 2, Saturday, Jan. 29 at 10:30 – perhaps it will be a wee bit warmer, we will see how it goes.

Claude, I heard this shocking and sad news yesterday. I will definitely do a little something today as well as make a donation to the Aylmer Heritage Association. I saw her the other day as I drove up Principale, honked and waved. Now I wished I had stopped to chat. It was about a month or so ago that I last spoke with her. She was a very special person and has been there for me many times over the years. Wendy

Thanks Claude, I checked on Monday this week but they were doing 80 and up, Tuesday I received info in the mail, and saw your info, went on again but got a bit confused with the 1st 2 questions so thought I would try yesterday and the age had dropped to 70, the 2 questions had changed and made more sense. I was able to book my appointment. I go in 2 weeks so all good. I was surprised at how fast the age had changed but today it is still 70 and up.
